FlameOFF® Fire Barrier Paint is a non-toxic, latex-like coating paint for use over interior steel, gypsum, and wood substrates.
- Tested and certified to ASTM E-119 and ASTM E-84.
- One product for application on steel, gypsum and wood.
- 2 hours fire resistance on steel and gypsum, 1 hour fire resistance on wood.
- Ideal for commercial, residential and industrial projects.

Application rate
- Spray: 45 mils (1.14 mm) per coat (wet)
- Brush: 10 mils (0.25 mm) per coat (wet)
Product may be applied by brush or spray application. Do not roll. Spray application is recommended for the optimum appearance.
Drying schedule (per coat)
- Touch dry: 1 hour
- Recoat time: 4 hours minimum
Drying time is influenced by temperature, humidity, film thickness & ventilation.
